Ortiz 2023 conducted a multicenter CHIVIM study (NCT04044352) to assess clinical response, immunological response, and safety of intranasal administration of (H1N1)pdm09 virus in healthy adults; the study was reported to have advanced NIAID goals to expand capacity for conducting CHIVIM studies by collecting substantial data and specimens from the 4 centers for future immunologic analyses alternative clinical outcome definitions.
