The Influenza Vaccines R&D Roadmap: Framework for a Flu-Free Future, a symposium organized by Sabin Vaccine Institute in partnership with the Influenza Vaccine R&D Roadmap (IVR) Initiative, was held on December 6, 2021, as part of the European Scientific Working Group on Influenza (ESWI) Conference 2021.

The symposium was moderated by Michael Osterholm and Stacey Knobler and explored current efforts to reimagine and transform the vaccine research, development, and delivery ecosystem in the interest of future pandemic prevention and in the context of advancing next-generation, universally protective influenza vaccines.
