The Flu Vaccine Forum is a webinar series hosted and organized by the Sabin Vaccine Institute in coordination with the Global Funders Consortium for Universal Influenza Vaccine Development and the IVR Initiative. The forum brings together global funders, scientific experts, and key public policy, regulatory, and public health stakeholders from across the globe to explore current efforts to reimagine and transform vaccine research, pandemic preparedness and prevention initiatives in the context of advancing next-generation, universally protective influenza vaccines (UIV) and key issues and highlights from the IVR.

The second Flu Vaccine Forum episode was aired live on March 16, 2023. The video and audio recordings are now available. In episode #2, Dr. Diane Post moderates a discussion with Dr. Norman Baylor, Dr. Scott Hensley, and Dr. Amin Khan on regulatory uncertainty that promising UIV candidates face on the journey from preclinical research to the marketplace, and explore strategies for overcoming those roadblocks.
